She appears within the mind’s eye with a medium-sized dragon form, standing approximately nine feet tall at the shoulder, covered in sleek, shiny black fur, and with the head structure and facial features of a typical cat. Her eyes are a sparkling light blue color, and they seem to peer directly into the soul when her gaze is held. Her large, black wings have a very bat-like quality with leathery membranes spanning between the fingers. Shiny, black onyx-like scales run over the top of her head and down her back and tail. Highly intelligent, wise and intuitive, Avawyn is a wonderful guide and companion spirit. She has a very calm, laid back sort of presence, and her voice resonates within the mind with a confident and kind demeanor. While she is generally very even-toned and peaceful, she can be quite insistent with her guidance when key opportunities arise. She knows when assertiveness is needed to get a needed message across. She is also very protective and will rise to the occasion at a moment’s notice if anything threatens you. As one would expect, the Cat Dragons are amongst the quickest and most agile of draconic spirits and are able to out-maneuver most any foe. Despite their lack of size and bulkiness, their lithe forms still pack a tremendous amount of explosive power—power that is employed with perfect focus, precision and poise. This graceful quality of movement will be infused within your aura as the Master of a Cat Dragon, providing you with an enhanced degree of fluidity, balance and efficiency—both in terms of physical attributes as well as mental and emotional ones. Cat Dragons are the embodiment of independence and curiosity put into active motion. They are energetic and enthusiastic with a penchant for personal growth, development, exploration and adventure. Avawyn is no exception to this, and these qualities will empower your life experience as you develop your bond together. Navigating through challenges will seem to become far easier for you as your grace and power are more efficiently brought to the fore, applied and developed through her influence and assistance. Avawyn can also help with lucid dreaming and astral projection. She will be more than happy to serve as your mount during astral travel, taking great pleasure in providing such a joyful and exhilarating experience to her Master. There are few modes of astral travel more exciting than being along for the ride with the speed and versatility of her motion, whether sprinting on foot, scrambling up large trees and cliff sides, or, of course, flying through the air with the epitome of nimbleness. In addition to these qualities, like most draconic spirits, Avawyn is a powerful guardian and watches over you, your home, and its inhabitants—including any animal companions you have. As would be expected, Avawyn has a particular affinity with cats and is of an especially nurturing and guiding nature to any if they are present. Overall, Avawyn will be a tremendously positive force within your life experience, bringing many unique qualities and gifts to the table along with her wonderfully enjoyable companionship. ________________________________________ SPHERE OF INFLUENCE: • PROTECTION • GUIDANCE AND COMPANIONSHIP • FELINE CONNECTION AND BONDING • GOOD LUCK • PERSONAL GROWTH AND PROSPERITY • LUCID DREAMING AND ASTRAL TRAVEL • FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE • GRACE, AGILITY AND BALANCE—PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY • EFFICIENT USE AND DEVELOPMENT OF PERSONAL POWER • COURAGE AND SENSE OF ADVENTURE Does Avawyn resonate with you?
